The undead armies of the Whispering Tyrant have overran the nation of Lastwall and killed every living being in it. Many Pathfinder agents were lost in the sudden and brutal assault of the arch-lich and the Society is seeking to recover their bodies if possible. The only way to do this is to send teams of Society agents into the lands now known as the Gravelands on clandestine secret missions who are to locate and recover those bodies they find. If they are discovered, the only question is whether they are involuntarily recruited to join the undead armies or eaten by the ravenous zombies and ghouls.
Yes, it’s time for the October PFS Smackdown at Valhalla’s Gate in Columbia, Missouri this coming October 12th. We have a special Smackdown planned for this month. We are going to conduct a Pathfinder Second Edition Character Creation Seminar in the first slot. Players will be guided through the process of creating a completely PFS legal and ready to play character as part one of the seminar. Once they have them ready, the players will play the repeatable PFS quest, The Sandstone Secret. These quests are short adventures which are being created every month.
In the second slot, we’re going to offer three PFS2 scenarios. The first is the repeatable 1-01 The Absalom Initiation which is intended to be played by the newer players this month. Also, we will have this year’s Halloween feature scenario, 1-03 Escaping the Grave which takes place in the Gravelands. Finally, we are also offering one of the newest scenarios, 1-04 Bandits of Immenwood. All of these are Tier 1-4. Depending on turnout, we may offer a fourth scenario.
Good news on additional content! The Fall of Plaguestone is almost finished being sanctioned. We will be offering that module in November and December. The first chapter of the Age of Ashes Adventure Path should be sanctioned by late October. By then, two more scenarios and a quest will have come out. Both the module and AP will have multiple gaming sessions in order to play them out.

Bring a friend to the character creation seminar! This is perfect for new players and even experienced players as the Second Edition is so different than First Edition. I’ve got the factions explained and detailed in this seminar, so players will have their characters completely ready for PFS play once we finish the seminar. That’s when you test them out in the Sandstone Secret quest.
