January 2020 Conclave is Saturday!

Greetings Pathfinders! It’s time for the January 2020 Conclave of the Absalom Lodge. We will be hosting game sessions this Saturday, January 18th at the Quincy Mall. The date has been moved up a week as WinterWar is being held on our normal weekend over in Champaign, Illinois and we don’t want to conflict with it.

Currently, we only have two PFS2 sessions set up. I haven’t heard anything from anyone else on GMing and Steve can’t commit due to work obligations (damn those bills). If anymore are added to the schedule I will let everyone know. If you want to GM, this is your opportunity. {As I was typing this we added two scenarios, both repeatables to run if we have enough players).

Here’s the current line-up:

Tarnbreaker’s Trail is a 1-4 tier repeatable scenario in the 12 Noon slot while Flooded King’s Court is a 1-4 scenario in the 5 PM slot. Our backup GM will run Tarnbreaker’s Trail in the noon slot as well while running Lost on Spirit Road in the 5 PM slot if they are needed. Both are repeatables meaning players can play them repeatedly with different characters. You can sign up for these sessions at our Warhorn page now.

As I write this a weather alert has gone out for Friday with nasty words about 3-5 inches of snow and ice. Let’s see how this plays out before cancelling anything. It sounds like it should be over with late Friday night, so we should be okay on Saturday as the first slot isn’t until noon. I will keep my eye on this and make a decision based on what is happening by Saturday morning.

Finally, the Valhalla’s Gate PFS Smackdown got wiped out by the snow and ice last weekend. That’s two years in a row for that happening. We need to stop rolling a “1” on that. But players have asked for gaming! So, I’m going to Columbia on January 25th and running sessions. The Venture-Agent for Columbia is going to run a session at the make-up date too. So if you’re really jonesing for PFS2 (and really who isn’t?) just come on down to Columbia! We’re running three repeatables so it’s a great way to test out a brand new character concept. The Warhorn for that date is up and open for player sign ups.
