Previous Cons Holding Area
PaizoCon 2022
Memorial Day Weekend, May 2022
There is a very limited and already sold out live event combined with an online event. The last two years, this has been an online only event due to the former pandemic. This year will be the first year Org Play has done a very large live/online con at the same time, but the crew has always been very good at making things work. There might be some hiccups, but overall I expect this to go pretty well.
This has been a very, very good online con the last two years. In my opinion it is one of the best online cons, especially of the size it is, in the entire world of RPGs.

QuinCon 35

That’s right! After a two-year absence, our very own Quin Con is returning to live play in Quincy, Illinois!!! Organized Play is making the plans for both Pathfinder and Starfinder at the convention. We have always had a pretty big turnout for this convention, so we are preparing for an even bigger turnout after the long absence. It will be good to see everyone again!
The League of Aroden will be organizing the Org Play portion of the con. You can read all about this convention at the League of Aroden blog post about it.
The schedule has been posted on the QuinCon 35 Warhorn page. It is subject to change based on player signups and GM availability.
The registration fee is $15. GMs get $5 off per session they run. Contact me at leagueofaroden@gmail.com for more information if you need it or join us on our very own League of Aroden Discord server in the Quin Con 35 chat channel.
This convention will be following all local and state Covid-19 mandates in effect at the time of the convention.
KantCon
(Live) July 29-31, 2022 in Overland Park, Kansas

KantCon’s mission is to bring people together to play tabletop games at a fun Kansas City convention. We are a not-for-profit volunteer group that organizes three days of fun every summer since 2009. Over the course of the convention, KantCon hosts a wide range of gaming events from board games, card games, roleplaying, miniatures and more. Attendees also can enjoy access to the huge Gamer’s Haven Library with hundreds of games available for check out to play on the fly.
We are a family friendly event that encourages everyone to be courteous and welcoming, especially to new gamers. There will also be exhibitors that sell gaming-related merchandise as well as some artists that display their work. But mostly there are just a lot of games; people teaching and learning how to play games; people winning and losing games; and everyone having fun.
This is one of the bigger conventions in the area short of the major cons. All kinds of games are scheduled including Pathfinder and Starfinder Society. This is another convention I advise players to attend as the Kansas City Org Play folks are friends of the League of Aroden.
You can visit their website at Kantcon.com for more information.
Gen Con
(Both) August 4-7, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana
This con will be held live and have an online presence as well. Paizo is going to have a live presence with Organized Play gaming at it, but unfortunately a bad decision by someone was made and there will be limited numbers of tables at the event. Initial estimates put it at somewhere between 25 and 30 percent.
Vaccinations are required by the convention planners. Paizo is going to require masks as well no matter what the official convention policy is.
