Yes, my fellow Pathfinders, the long anticipated day has finally arrived. After a year long wait, the Achievement Point system for Pathfinder Society Second Edition has gone live. You may now spend all those points you have accumulated while playing PFS2. Of course, the Advanced Player’s Guide will have more Achievement Point boons available in it on July 30th, so maybe waiting a few more days might not hurt.
To earn AcP, you just play or run PFS2 scenarios or quests. You can also earn AcP playing modules and Adventure Paths. What is really nice about these points is that you earn them as a player and redeem them for a specific character on the Paizo Organized Play section of the Paizo website. You can learn more about these points here at this Paizo PFS2 blog post. As you can see I’ve earned a few over the last year. Just so you know, you can earn more by GMing as those earn 8 points for normal scenarios, 10 points for GMing them at various conventions, and 12 points for the major conventions such as Gen Con, Paizo Con, and Origins.
Speaking of Gen Con, that is coming up on July 30th. There were still tables available for multiple tables in SFS, PFS, PFS2, and PACS last time I looked. There may be a pandemic going on, but I’m still playing and running PFS2 online. I highly encourage you to do the same. There are many great people online to play with.
Also, it is Christmas in July. We have four major releases on July 30th! First up is the long awaited Advanced Players Guide. Plus it is sanctioned for PFS2 play as of July 30. Yes, we got it done early!

Lost Omens: Legends provides details on 42 of the Inner Sea region’s biggest personalities, from queens and kings that rule the present to distant figures from Golarion’s past. I know, you are aglow with excitement. But don’t burst yet because there’s a new module!
In the cosmopolitan trading city of Kibwe, at the edge of the Mwangi Expanse, innocent people struck by a terrible curse known as the slithering are melting into malevolent oozes. The heroes are at the epicenter of this slimy curse and might be the only ones capable of recovering the ancient magic required to break it. Tracking the course of the slithering through Kibwe’s colorful markets and shrines, the heroes must untangle the curse’s origin and discover the role the nefarious Aspis Consortium plays in the unfolding conspiracy. The mysteries the heroes uncover might usher in a new era of plenty and prosperity for Kibwe, if the heroes can survive the slithering to experience it!
Now, you are probably in a state of shock. Snap out of it! We’ve got a new Adventure Path!
Get ready to shine your badge and report for duty—the Agents of Edgewatch Adventure Path begins! In this thrilling new Pathfinder campaign, players assume the role of fresh recruits of the Edgewatch, the newest division of Absalom’s city watch. Tasked with fighting crime during this year’s Radiant Festival—a grand centennial gathering of exhibitors and wonders from around the world that this year celebrates the grand reopening of Absalom’s treacherous Precipice Quarter, long a ruined haven of monsters and criminals. Soon after taking on the new beat, the detectives learn that the fair has attracted not only cutpurses and vandals, but also poisoners, ransomers, and even a sadistic serial murderer, and it’s up to the Agents of Edgewatch to crack the case and bring these villains to justice!
“Devil at the Dreaming Palace,” by fan-favorite author James L. Sutter, is a Pathfinder adventure for four 1st-level characters. The adventure kicks off the Agents of Edgewatch Adventure Path, in which the heroes join the city watch to solve a series of crimes across Absalom, the City of Lost Omens, before the crooks can pull off the ultimate heist! This volume also includes an in-depth gazetteer of Absalom’s Radiant Festival, thematically appropriate new monsters, and new rules designed to support the Agents of Edgewatch campaign!
Not to be left out, Starfinder has the final chapter of the ongoing The Threefold Conspiracy out too.
With bounties on their heads and evidence of a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top of the Pact Worlds government, the heroes travel to Absalom Station to clear their names and root out the duplicitous agents. But time is of the essence, as the suspects are on the verge of being elected onto the powerful Pact Council. With the operatives unmasked, the heroes have their final chance to come face-to-face with the puppet master behind all their troubles and the architect of the vast conspiracy that threatens the entire system!
“Puppets Without Strings” is a Starfinder Roleplaying Game adventure for four 11th-level characters. This adventure concludes the Threefold Conspiracy Adventure Path, a six-part, monthly campaign in which the players unravel the machinations of insidious aliens who have infiltrated galactic society. This volume also includes advice on how to keep your campaign going past the final encounter, a look at magical training academies across the galaxy, and a selection of new and inexplicable monsters.
Has your head exploded yet? Do you need to get a new job to buy all this stuff? We have more to go! The Starfinder Core Rulebook Pocket Edition is out now too! Plus flip-tiles, flip-mats, spell cards, and Pathfinder Battles mini sets. Like I said, it’s Christmas in July!
I hope that’s enough to keep you excited! More is coming in the next few months. Season 2 of PFS2 gets underway July 30th as well. I’ll come back with more on that after Gen Con. Hope to see you in the virtual gaming world before long!
