Finally, the long talked about GM Academy is a reality! We are going to hold it on December 30th at 6:00 PM at Tri-States Games & Hobbies in Quincy, Illinois. The address is 834 S. 8th St. I think many people will be off of work the next day, the 31st, and this seemed like a good open date for such an event. We will cover some GM basics and break down a PFS2 scenario so that everyone can learn how to GM one. We will also go over Organized Play requirements and paperwork, so that everyone can be on the same page.
Each person who comes to GM Academy will earn 8 Achievement Points, just like they would if they were running a PFS2 or SFS scenario. The session should take about 3 to 3.5 hours. We will chip in a few bucks each and order some delivery pizza for our break. At the end of the session, each participant will be better prepared to GM a scenario at one of the many events going on in the League of Aroden area.
This is open to anyone who wants to attend. It does not matter if you have never played a single session of PFS or SFS or GMed any for that matter. The end result will be you being able to run a scenario in an engaging manner with the players.
